According to Snow and Klein, Rene Caisse used whole plant Sheep
sorrel (including the roots). The authors recommend that you
grow your own Sheep sorrel
because commercial growers traditionally harvest only leaf and
stem parts of the plant.
Sheila Snow and Mali Klein spent considerable time doing research
in Bracebridge, Ontario, where the Rene Caisse Cancer Clinic
was located, and they had access to Canadian archives of unpublished
Rene Caisse documents. The result is authentic Rene Caisse material and information.
Sheila Snow co-authored
the remarkable 1977 Homemaker's Magazine
article after interviewing Rene Caisse, in 1993 she wrote
The Essence of Essiac and
was a close friend of Mary McPherson and Dr. Brusch.
Mali Klein founded The Clouds Trust charity to research essiac
after her husband passed away from cancer in 1994.
Now an acclaimed reseacher in her own right, Mali Klein
continues to conduct her popular Essiac Workshops
(independently of Clouds Trust) in the UK and Europe.

The days of secrecy are over, thanks to this book by Sheila Snow
and Mali Klein.
Their research of Canadian archives and the authors' unique access to
Mary McPherson have resulted in a book that is
the biggest public information break-through since Gary Glum's 1988 book.
The book also dicusses and reveals the recipes and directions to
make other formulas Rene Caisse used or may have used alongside her basic
formula during her Bracebridge Cancer Clinic days.
The Canadian archives revealed unreleased information concerning
the roles played by some of the more prominent figures involved with Rene
and her Essiac, especially during the last years of her life.
Based on interviews of Mary McPherson and substantial
documented evidence, you will learn who knew the
authentic Rene Caisse formula -- and who did not.
Because the days of secrecy are past, Sheila and Mali press
for honesty in labeling of the herbs and recipe used by commercial
enterprises -- use of certified organic herbs, date stamp of manufacture
(sheep sorrel is good for only 15 months) and complete details of
content and proportion of herbs.
